Dr. Shishir V. Shah is an esteemed Medical Director of the Wound Healing & Hyperbaric Medicine Center at Dignity Health, St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix. He holds board certifications in family practice, undersea & hyperbaric medicine, and wound management.
Dr. Shah earned his medical degree from Midwestern University/CCOM and completed residencies at MacNeal Health Network/Rush Medical in Family Practice and at Resurrection Hospital in Emergency Medicine. His extensive expertise spans acute, chronic, inpatient, and outpatient wound services, with a specialization in pressure ulcer management, venous/diabetic foot ulcers, and chronic non-healing wounds.
Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Shah is actively involved in clinical trials for advanced wound healing technologies, contributing to the field’s innovative advancements. As an Operating Partner at 3 Rivers Capital, he provides strategic guidance and operational management for healthcare companies, mentoring executives and optimizing team performance. He also serves as a telemedicine consultant for Teladoc Health and is a key member of the Arizona Tech Investors’ Deal Screening Committee.
Dr. Shah hosts the podcast “T-Minus to Attending,” which aims to equip residents and fellows with the knowledge and skills needed to advance in their medical careers.
